Although tractors are relatively complex machines with different types and sizes, they are all composed of three main parts: engine, chassis, and electrical equipment, each of which is indispensable.
engine
It is a device that generates power for tractors, and its function is to convert the thermal energy of fuel into mechanical energy to output power externally. Most agricultural tractors produced in our country use diesel engines.
chassis
It is a device that transmits power to tractors. Its function is to transmit the power of the engine to the driving wheels and working devices to make the tractor travel and complete mobile or fixed operations. This function is achieved through the coordination and cooperation of the transmission system, walking system, steering system, braking system, and working device, which also constitute the skeleton and body of the tractor. Therefore, we collectively refer to the four major systems and one major device as the chassis. That is to say, all other systems and devices in the tractor, except for the engine and electrical equipment, are collectively referred to as the tractor chassis.
Electrical equipment
It is a device that ensures the electricity supply for tractors. Its function is to address lighting, safety signals, and engine start-up.
